So I'm looking for people who have shipped, recieved shipped, or researched shipping a truck across the country. More specificly St louis to SF.there seems to be alot of companies out there and with fully custom I want to go with the most reputable company at a reasonable price....Experiances, thought, recommendation, concerns?Thanks....

Looking to buy back my baby...but if u know of something else out there for sale LMK, I'm partial to the ranger (check profile), but open to something new....even more so if it wasn't thousands of miles away! Sold it almost two years ago, guy really did t do anything to it, billet grill, put two more comps in bed(tacky IMHO), billet star mirror, and put less then 8k miles on it.I sold it for x amount, he's willing to drop that price 1k....think I can go lower? Peep profile and lmk what price tag you'd pit on it.I think all mod details are there, just in case, front end conversions, stock floored powder coated frame, 20's, modified step side bed, sheet metal floor, digital ride hight controller, rag top, 13" cobra brakes, air horns, I'm trying to end my hietus from the scene!Draggin body is a drug I can't seem to kick and I need my fix! It was my first car and I've learned alot over the past 7 years and really wand to finish what I started.Either that or pick up an unfinished BD truck and finish it up, but then all my blood sweat, stress, and tears aren't in it from the beginning.Lmk your thoughts, shipping experiances, ect....the weathers bad so I'm a little conceded with an enenclosed transportespecially with rag top.

I have shipped 3 vehicals 2 of them coming to me. I used a site called u-ship for those.  the others i just did alot of google searching and sending out quote request that was back in early Nov. I am still getting shipping offers kind of annoying.  I now have to ship my bagged Tundra crew max back from AZ to NC.  The one quote I have from the guy that took it out there is $725.  So that will give you a ball park starting price.  Also if there is anyone here in the auot transport business that wants to chime in help us out.     I have heard that centraldispatch.com is the site that all the brokers use to fill thier shipments I tried getting on here to list briinging my truck back home from AZ but you have to be a dealer, driver, or broker.  Would be nice to be able to post straight to there but o-well

Yeah, centraldispatch.com is just for transporters, brokers, and dealers. (I know, I'm a transporter).  I would suggest trying it on uship.com first.  If that doesn't work, you can get a brokerage company to list it elsewhere for a fee of course.  With it being a custom you can expect to pay a little more, could be anywhere from $700 to $950 for an open car carrier.  Enclosed will be more.  Hope this helped.

I hope those are good ones the last broker i went throught was complety horrible I will never go through a broker again becouse of them.  once my truck was picked up my bill was doubled they said if I didnt pay it they would have the truck impounded and would not disclose the location untill the bill was paid.  Just be very careful with brokers.

ya i keep getting emails from all these dumbass broker companies 6 months later. just fly one way and drive it back. or make sure you use a reputable place. it's worth an extra 100-200 to know you're dealing with a good place. and not a place that will double the price or impound it at an undisclosed location. i'd kill those fucks.
