what ever happened to this taco

I've been wondering that as well, last time I saw it was at Reso 30.

ya thats the 1st and last time i seen it still not sure what it was they did to the bed near the taillights

if i remember right , they slanted the tailgate forward to match the same angle of the back of the cab

it was some hot rod shop building a mini is what the kid with it told me at reso that year but have never seen it again

the truck is sitting next to a metal work shop in Nuevo, CA. about 1 mile from my old house. The young guys that were building it moved to a town in the middle of no where near La Paz Arizona, where West Coast Nationals was held. They wanted to petition NR but basically didnt really ever come around. I havent seen or heard from them in a long time.  Last i heard from theyre neighboor about a year ago, the truck is still sitting their in the same condition, untouched.
