ok here is my question i have a 81 k5 and i am asumeing that the uppers are the same as a c10 i have Zed the frame 3" but when layed out the upper ball joints bind up so have any of you had this problem and if so is it posible to pie cut the control arm and bend and reweld it together to keep this from happening????

That what was done with my burban...  would have liked to buy the aftermarket arms, but too much $$$$ at the time

cool thats what thought to i dont have a extra grand to spend on control arms either how much did you make the pie cut

Hey guys, whats up?the arms are cut at the sides leaving the top metal alone, and then the spindle jacked up to the point of laying, the pie will create itself. Then a filler piece is made.  Hope this helps. Later
