what sawzall do you have?

im going to buy a sawzall and was wondering whats a good one to get? im looking at the dewalt 10 amp one is that a good one?

I have the only true Sawzall. Milwaukee. Everything else is a reciprocating saw.  In all seriousness, my friend had a Dewalt and burned it up, and got a Sawzall after using mine. I don't know if Dewalt has gotten better since his was made, because I like my Dewalt grinder, but I still like Milwaukee stuff better. Also his didn't have a quick release on the blade. I love that about mine. I also have an air saw, like a little brother to any reciprocating saw. Great tool as well.

ya my dad has an old milwaukee that was my second option but they cost a little more probably becuase there better. but ya i definatly wan thte quick release. how many amps is yours?

Mine is 11 I think. It's their big one. I got mine on sale at Home Depot for $89 a couple years ago. Got a grinder that way too.

I have a Ridgid ,only 9 amps., but have never had a problem with it. Do must cutting with a cut off wheel.Will be doing the next with a plasma!

DeWalt Model# DW304PK and milwaukee Model# 6509-20, both are 10 amp. I got the Dewalt first and i have had to get the milwaukee fixed one time but that is more like the luck of the draw. still love both.
