I'm looking for a smaller than stock brake booster for my 2200.  Are the chrome ones sold at Waylayed any good, and how close are they to bolting right in?

Waylayed products are great, I put one on my 99 mazda and it stops just as good as before. The holes didnt line up but a lil metal fab isnt that big of a deal, plus that allows you to move it if your tight on space.

I'm using one of the hotrod boosters on my Mazda.  The bolt pattern is smaller then the factory one so you have to drill new holes for it.

Its good to know that its a smaller bolt pattern though.  Thanks for that, and where did you get yours from?Walayed and Summit are both on backorder for the 7" duals.

Scott, I got mine from ebay.  I ordered it a while ago before waylayed even sold them.  I don't remember the seller, but there's alot of them on ebay.  Just find one with the best price and a decent feedback if you go that route.  Also for mine the rod on the back was too short to connect it to the brake pedal, but we just welded an extension on the back of the pedal for it to hook up.  I don't know if being BD'd effected that at all.  I don't think it would have. Kerry,  I'm just a bronze member here so I can only post 5 pics on my profile.   Here's a link to one of the build threads though. http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f30/baggain-a-b2200-yay-241044/index4.html

Don't know if I need one that small.  The stock Mazda one looks to be around a 9" single, so a 7" dual should be just right with the V8.   I also picked one up from Speedway motors, a little more than Waylayed costs, but they at least had them in stock.
