thanks Jeff! the 55 in the backround was a friends dads car, it was a piece lol. the plymouth in the last pics is mine.  plans for the motor are still up in the air for now. my main objective is to get it driving first, then go fast. my real goal is to make it the fastest 1st gen equipped truck. By 1st get i mean he motor and it's injection pump. from 89-93 they ran a VE rotary style pump, 94-98 they had the more famous inline P pump. not many people use the VE rotary pump because they can't push as much fuel. BUT i have a few tricks to really get it screaming. i would like to get it down into the mid to high 11s when it's all said and done.  Big as for the trans i have a few options. i can get a performance rebuild kit from either BD or ATS and do it myself, or i will just go to either one of them and have em' do me a trans. i would like to try and run 8s up front but i don't think that's gonna happen. as you can see the frame is fully boxed in but i'm gonna add some other X members and a drive shaft loop to really stiffen it up. i set the motor back just about as far as i could so that should help with traction a bit. yea the blue chevy has a stack but it's got a duramax. that's one of my other toys.

This is going to be awesome.  Do you think it would be better to run the dodge trans or a 4L80?  My trucvk already has the 80, but I want diesel to tow.  The 6.0 just aint doing it.

true they do fuel hard down low. i've been looking at different injectors and have narrowed it down to a few sets.   i'm also working on getting another turbo so i can build a twin set up. i just passed on a nitrous kit the other day too CHEAP!
