Rear end handle a 305??

I'm putting a Chevy 305 in my amigo with a 700r4 tranny. I was wondering if the rear end would be able to handle that or if I might need to swap all that out? I'm also running 20s as well.

are you drag racing?  are you doing big burnouts with a  locker so both tires spin?  if no, then yes it will be plenty strong

abuse = break!!!! show = ok...

how many bolts are on your rear and disc or drum brakes?
