Ive been looking into both these wheels myself and speaking with a local shop here I was told that the U2 55s have been known to have chroming issues being these are made cheaper out of country. I haven't heard anything negative toward the Boss 330's but would trust them over the U2's being American made wheel. I'd like to hear more input on the wheels myself. Anyone?

The chrome peels off fairly fast on the u2's.

No offense to the people that have either one of the wheels but both are very very popular right...my suggestion would be to choose a dif wheel. A buddy of mine with the U2s in a 26 had alotta problems with getting them ballanced. They had to use a whole gang of weight to get em even close. Then they still weren't perfect...he still had some vibrations.

I had the Boss 304s for over 2 years put over 30K on them, never had any problems. I also am a clean freak though and washed/cleaned my truck twice a week when it was a daily, including the back side of the rims, a place most people are too lazy to clean even at shows. and polished my rims about every 6 weeks so I really had no reason to ever have a problem. Those rims looked brand new the day I sold them, I was 16 with tons of time on my hands to devote to cleaning.  I have a set of U2s now, had them for about 6 months and the chroming just has a weird look to it. I only got them because I had to get a quick replacement set of rims when I put a 15" crack in my old set after hitting a pothole at 55 mph. I'm now saving for billets.  Save for another month or so and spend a little more money on a rim that isn't so popular
