just how damn slow is 1/4" air? ive got a 73 crew cab that im bagging and dont want things too fast, just a descent rise/drop time that is smooth. maybe i should just go with 3/8" valves and 1/2" line over 1/4" manual???

maybe someone could point me to some vids with known setup sizes?

Hi Joe i would go with a 3/8 valve and 3/8 line.Trust me 1/4" is way to slow i had 1/4" on my fullsize extened cab and within a year i put 3/8 on it you will be much more happy.

Since there is minimal price increase when going 1/4, 3/8 or even 1/2. I would go with at least 3/8. you can always put in speed controls, you can't make the valves/line bigger. I would do 3/8 valves, 1/2 line, then put speed controls on your dumps. just have to make sure you're system stays clean because those things can cause some junk build up if you use steel tanks and don't have a water trap

if you already have 1/4" valves run 3/8" air line to maximize the flow and that would be a decent setup. with 3/8" valves run 1/2" lines but it will be fast
