I am interested in getting this accuair set up for my truck... Do I have to use the Accuair manifold or can I use my own SMC valves?  The accuair valves are 3/8"s and I have 3/8" smc valves.  What I heard before is that other valves my release too much air and fill to much air causing the accuair to take a little longer on having the right height... Im hoping this isnt true so I dont have spend more money on those valves...

Thanks

I will be installing one on my 2005 crew cab silverado and on a 1984 C-10 in the next couple weeks doing the full system on both them.We checked it all out at sema its fukkin sikk cant wait. ill post up some info on the installs for sure..You can just install the controller with a seperate kit they sell for that application and always upgrade to the valves and Brain later on if needed there are actually a lot of options they have that are very nice

yeah, I also would suggest buying the manifold. Makes it sooooo much easier. All plug and play. And you might have a little problem with the SMC's being a little too fast, some reducers would do the trick.

But it is worth it to get the whole setup. My wife has driven her truck every day since we got back from SEMA and we have had ZERO problems

We have installed them both way with other valves and with the Accuair valve. It is a whole lot easier to install with the accuair valves and it also seems to work better with more control. I have a whole setup for sale if you want to buy one.

You can certainly run the e-Level on your current setup with the addition of some flow/dump controls. On my daily driver I have the Accuair Touchpad e-Level running 3/8" Asco Valves with 1/2" line.  Dump controls on the rear bags and inline flow controls for the front.  I still get a quick reaction direct to ride height when lifting and a slightly slower/smoother drop.

Just bought the full system myself and am going to install on my '63,  I was very impressed with EVERYTHING....packaging, instructions, hell even when I called up Accuair and Reno himself answered the phone...EXCELLENT customer service...you can't go wrong...

Thanks guys... thats a lot of help!  I was hoping i didnt have to slow down the air so I can play with it when i wanted to.
