ok its not a toyota truck but its a toyota. gotta 1992 gt celica 2200 motor. new fuel pump and filter new slark plugs and ignition modual but still wont run good. you can get in it and sometimes it'll crank right up and idle good, other times it wont even crank, take of down the road and it starts cutting out on me and sputtering and cuts off...iv tested thealtenator too. wat could it be???????

I had almost the excate same problem (extremly frustrating) with my truck (carbed), I'm guessing your fuel injected, either way, you still have fuel lines and I am guessing they are clogged. My fuel line(s) not positive which one, my fabricator fixed my problem were only producing 40% flow, he put on the following and it runs like a champ now, no problems period! He thought it was a firing issue but the symptoms lead to it being a fuel problem and it was. 1. New Weber 32/36 carb2. new fuel lines3. clear glass (high quality) fuel filter. When the truck is running, the fuel flowing through the filer looks like a jacuzzi tub lol I hope this helps and you get your problem fixed soon.

well we hooked up a guage where the fuel filter goes and it read 33 and its recomended for it to run 35-41 so we replaced it and now the guage reads 37 its perfect never changes when it reves up or anything.....yes its fuel injected

Try another ECU in it if you can and see if that cures it.

If the battery goes dead or is disconected, the ecu resets it's self. Just go out and drive it for about an hour or so. It will clear up on it's own if there is no other issues
