does any know if you can make the rear door windows roll all the way down or has done this before?

The windows are set up to roll down as far as possible from the factory, without exstensively modifing the mechanisms, and this is not an easy task they will not roll down all the way.

not buyin it... any thing is possible.

Try using the front door rails. If you have a cutting wheel and a welder anything is possible. You just got to put in the time.

there is room for them to go down.

There is room, but you will also have to extend or make new run channels  to guide the glass lower in the door, as well as extend the full mechanism and I would assume move some components lower in the door that could interfere with the glass going down.  I will change my opinion, it can be done, anything can be done.  But on that note you will have to take into consideration leverage and binding within the door to to going beyond what was designed by the engineers at ford.  Im actually kind of curious as to why they designed it that way from the factory?

they generally dont roll down all the way as a saftey feature so that people or children dont try and climb out, because death is bad.

it used to be because there wasn't room to roll down, especially on a lot of smaller suv's and what not becaue the rear wheel well intruded into the door itself.  A lot of newer vehicles have full rolldowns on the rear doors.  I have been an autoglass tech for the last 12 years or so, so I have seen a lot of this type of thing and its evolution.
