i have a mini starter im having problems with ...i had a smaller flexplate and swaped to a bigger one...so im guessing its the 168..the starter is spose towork with both ...so when i have it bolted up it seems as if the teeth barley catch so they slip this is with no shims...i thought of using only shims on the outside and would tilt it closer...im lost
is it one of the powermaster or whatever cheap brand off ebay? i bought one for my s10. put a 350 sbc in it and it works fine. i think we mounted it upside down because of space issues with the frame and firewall, etc...
