why is there paint on the unfinished door?

so how do i go about posting pics(in simplemans terms please)? and as far as the paint on the rear door goes.......that front side of the rear door consisted of a decent amount of modifications if you look close. that part of the pass rear door is made from a window opening of a driver front door. instead of just welding it in place as is, we pie cut the top and bottom corners along w half way up the vertical part of the window opening. the reason is we wanted it to lean forward to be parallel w the other vertical openings. we did the pie cut half way up on the vertical portion because it actually has a slight curve forward which actually means backwards in this application, if all that makes sense. the reason we painted it after we roughed everythin in is so we could stand back and visualize what it would look like as a finished product before we completed the fab work. now that i have seen it like this im happy w the way it looks and need to finish welding her up. was not happy w the few others i have seen so thats why we went through all this b.s., to make it look factory as possible. thanks for your help mike
