Haven't had the truck but a few days and already taken the Silverado, Flexfuel, Dealership junk, and Texas Edition logos off my truck but my question directed to the big molding going down the two doors is it put on the truck the same way with double side tape?  Has anyone taken it off yet i don't want it just nervous about the big strips being a pain in the ass getting off because all the other stuff was super easy with a heat gun.

I took mine off with a heat gun. Its only double sided tape. I found that after you remove it, get some mineral spirits (at Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc.)  and rub down to remove the sticky residue.

Great thanks for the info i'm gonna do the heat gun thing this weekend being that it's only a week old off the lot it should be as easy as the rest of the molding i took off.  Just wasn't sure how the big molding was on the truck.  thanks

Just make sure after you take it off and remove the reisdue to do a lite polish and then apply some wax.

I just took off the moldings and lettering on my 08 and they came off easily!  But as for the glue, ive been working on it for 3 hours, the lettering was way easy the molding glue is kickin my ass... and im using laquer thinner.  Anybody have any better ideas to take it off??
