is it possible to put a front wheel drive motor into a rear wheel drive truck?

what is all involved in doing it besides new motor mounts?

I know I saw one guy actually grab the whole front subframe from an import fwd car and mold into the front section of his truck, he actually converted the truck to FWD though.  I saw it at ITB probably 3 years ago I believe, in case you want to try and track down some pics

A fwd engine is no different just turned sideways, the transmission is what is really different. Have to make motor mounts, and make sure it has provisions for motor mounts to be bolted up to on the block, and also make sure you can find a rdw tranny that will bolt up to the engine
