What bag height do you guys use when setting up your custom suspension set-up?  I am looking for the compressed height of a Slam Bag re7 and re6.  I got on their website and it said 3" but I can barely make it compress all the way down to 3".

Any help would be great.  Thanks

If I remember correctly the firestones collapse to 3" as well, they are not as difficult to push down.   Some people make mock bags out of steel set at the height they want.  If I'm in a pinch I will stand on top of the slam bag and put a plug in it so that it will stay collapse or use clamps and then put a plug in it

Yeah, I made some steel bags and set them at the 3".  I just don't have anything else on my rear frame right now so it doesn't have enough weight to collapse them down all the way unless I jump on it.  I want to get the most lift but I was just making sure the 3" was a good height I guess...

we made some makeshift bags out of 2x4s that were as wide as the bag and had bolts sticking out of the wood so we could line the holes up where the bag holes were... and a slam bag is 2.8" compressed, so 3" will work fine

just conferming... Yep Slams compress to 3 inches...  clamps will do the trick if you want to check for your self..
