Military Minitruckers-Active and non active military brothers?

As i was replying to someone on here they talked of deployment again.  I was just curious how many of you on here have served our great country.  As a former Air Force member during Desert Storm I can relate to all of you and the sacrifices that we make.  Alot of us went into the service cause they had nothing better to do and it probably kept me out of jail or death.  It turned into a greater feeling of accomplishment and personal  honor that most don't realize.  I am grateful for my time in the service and  am grateful to all that still serve. I still can't hear the national anthem without getting goosebumps and thinking damn we got a great country(and i've been to enough other ones to know).  Anyway just curious to see how much of this family is also part of my military family.

I served 4 years active Army and now am in the Army Reserves in Phoenix, AZ. I deployed to Iraq Dec 05 to Dec 06 with the 4th infantry divisions first brigade combat team. I also spent 6 months working for the military in northern Iraq with KBR. I also joined to keep me out of trouble with nothing better to do lol. Like you I also get goosebumps when I hear the national anthem, sometimes even have to fight back some water in the eyes (makes me remember our fallen brothers and sisters). I agree we live in a GREAT NATION it only took a few visits to third world countries to figure it out! To all our brothers and sisters deployed today stay safe and watch your six hooah!

I am working on a 86 nissan and a 86 chevy 1500. The nissan is hangin out but the chevy is coming along nicely. Yeah man if some people only knew! lol. Thank you too for your service! You workin on anything?

I am currently deployed to Iraq, Mosul with the 1st Brigade 1st Armored Division "OLD IRONSIDES" attached to 2nd Brigade 3RD Infantry Division. Im a tanker and proud of it. I will be heading back to AZ in about 10 months im about to finish my contract.
