dakota digital guages

quick question. on dakota digital gauges. it says like... purple wire to sender black wire to sender ground. i can just use common ground on it right? and the senders have the 2 prongs so 1 prong would be purple wire and the other prong ground.. just want to make sure and not mess anything up. thanks.

From what I heard, you have to send it back all the way or you will get inaccurate readings

Well those gauges use a resistor type setup similar to what cars run for the ecm, so you have to run it all the way back.

I would just call the DD guys and ask for Technical Support.
