Since Jeff gets one does that mean he got mine?

huh? I dont understand...

will shorten or narrow arms keep you from laying out if you are already set up with longer arms?i got some of your tie rods but my choppin block arms put the tire really really close to the fender half way through the suspension travel. or do I need to mess with the upper arm mount? 96 sfbd tahoe

When i narrow the arms, it does not affect any of the ability for the truck to lay out, with the extra travel the jeebus joint gets, and the angle i put the lower ball joint at, it does not affect it at all. I replace a lot of the 88-98 FSC arms because of that reason with them being too close to the damn fender, enough that turning while rolling low, is not an option with other arm. I like to build that into mine, so you can cruise your truck low, and still be able to change lanes or adjust your position in the road, still 1" off the ground.
I personally would not mess with the upper arm mounts on that model truck, not unless you start to roll on a 26 or so, then i would prefer to move some mounting points and adjust some stuff, but with what you got, there is no reason at all that you cannot bolt some arms on, lay out fine, and still have plenty of room to adjust your steering while rolling really low, or mid travel.
