Hey everybody I have a quick question. How do I do a side tilt bed? My truck still has the stock bed mounts and a mostly stock floor just so you know what im working with, oh and it is a 91 mazda cab plus. Thanks for any input.
for the "hinge" you can use rod end bushings and normal link tabs which would make it adjustable. I used 2 ends of a leaf spring but the rod ends would work better. My tilt goes backward but same thing which ever direction you want it to go.. check my nissan 720 profile if you want pics.
Thanks. That helps alot. I think I have got it figured out and I just so happen to have an old four link laying around thats about to sacrifice its rod ends! Your 720 is sick!!!
I have seen some heavy duty comersial grade hinges used for this mod in the past. The idea mentioned above sounds like it would be more adjustabke which is great for fine tuning.
