Ive got the bed off my truck right now and want to correct the gas filler while Ive got it off.  The stock hose is kinked a bit because of the bodydrop.  Whats the key to getting it to fill properly?  Right now it only takes gas a little bit at a time before shutting of the pump.  Takes forever to fill the tank.

I realize it needs to be cut.  Thanks.  Is it supposed to follow a certain angle?  What is gonna keep it from switching the pump off?

The reason why it shuts off at the pump is because of the kink. The filler dose not have to be any certain anglel it just needs a down ward angle and no restrictions. You can always cut the filler neck and replace it with bendable fuel hose if you stock filler is creased.

on my s10 when i raised the bed floor i used some white pvc pipe and elbows and made the portion i needed due to the new filler neck position. then i took it to a exhaust place and had em bend the pipe to match the pvc. obviously it wasnt exact since pvc was just a reference point but i knew if he started with the opening and ended the bending at the other end it would work. havnt had a problem in over 5 years
