tips aand tricks for a chop

i would like to keep stock glass ...would like to do what miles did and only do a 2 inch ...my truck is only on the rockers so a 3" would look weird ...so what tips do you have for when i do this ...when i chop it do i have to cut the roof into sections ..did you just cut the window frame out and lower it in the front
