drop spindles

does anyone have pics of there drop spindle lower ball joint. im wondering how it goes on. does it go on top of the control arm or under?

I don't have pix but I can tell you that the provided balljoint plate is meant to mount from the bottom side of the LCA with the ball joint pointing up (oposite of the factory joint)

can anyone back that up, because ive seen them mounted on top of the control arm and under.... 2nd opinion anyone?

Unless your truck has had a flipped lower balljoint in the past it won't mount to the top of the arm due to the bump stamped in it.

I have drop spindles on my Mazda and I mounted the lower ball jount on the bottom side of my lower control arm. I had flipped ball joint on mine but when i got the spindles I put the upper ball joint back under the top control arm and the lower ball joint that came with the spindles on the bottom side of the lower control arm. hope this helps.
