Are you just replacing the rail sections under the cab by slipping some 2x3 inside the stock frame or are you cutting the chassis off at the firewall and building all new from there? Have you done this type of work in the past or is it all new to you? If your a first timer I would advise you to take it real slow and plan as much as you can ahead of time before you start.Street Trucks mag ran an article on how to do it to a CK chevy recently, its not the same truck but the idea is similar so check it out. Its not mission impossible or anything but if you get frustrated and lose your drive 2/3 of the way through it can be a big problem.
