---------------------------------------------Originally posted by tcknrllGreat built!! just wondering, if the heim joint will be strong enough comparing to a swivel balls. Also what size cylinder are you running up front, and i am assuming your using accumulators, my qus. do you have, to set them at a certain pressure to get a good ride on that truck . Any feed back will be great ---------------------------------------------Heim joint on what parts? The 1/2" heims on the cylinders have a static load strength of 16,242lbs, the 5/8" heims are 17,959lbs, and the 3/4" heims are 28,090lbs. So yeah, I think they will hold up. The front and rear cylinders are both 8". The accumulators will need a custom charge to make it ride good. I think the last full size chevy I did had 400 in the front, so that is probably where I will start. It had a v6 though.
