I didn't really know what section to put this in, so mods feel free to correct. I know there will probably be some bias on this site, but here goes. I've been talking about lifting my 06' Silverado Crew 4x4, and wanted to do it since I bought it. Recently though, I've been looking at all the slammed trucks on here and another site I'm on, and it's make me really want to re-build and get my '92 back on the road. It's been sitting for 3 1/2 years while I was in college. I couldn't afford to work on it and drive it, and I needed something a little more reliable for a DD, so I parked it, and it has sat ever since. It needs some major TLC, complete new wiring harness, new crossmember, fluids flushed, not telling what else to even get it running. I'm stuck on whether to lift my DD truck, or get my first ride(yea I drove it to high school) back goin'. Here she is in a little better shape than now...

personally i dont like driving lifted trucks. just dont feel comfy to me.

oh snaps, i thought this was about Natalie Imbruglia..     any ways, your truck looks sweet. itll look sweet low or lifted.  personally, its lowered now, will be cheaper to fix it and drive now then, buy a lift kit + fix it too...

I think you misread the question James. I say put some work into the bagged chevy. I think it would be fun fun to cruise around in.

Keep the daily the daily, and work on the bagged one. And lifted trucks are cool at first, but it gets old driving a beast around.

i'd say bring your first truck back to life! i think you would be happier with that

There's nothing like cruising around in your first truck. I say leave the DD alone & bring back your old truck to good condition,

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'm going to slowly start working on my 92' and build it the way I originally wanted ( bodydrop, clean up the frame, iterior etc...), and I'm still going to lift my '06 becuase I want both haha. Pazz said it best. I'm looking forward to building it and not rushing it done, even tho there are thousands of 88-98, I just want to complete mine how I want it.

i thought it said your name was Tom. lol but ya, your bagged truck looks clean as hell in that pic. get it back on the road asap, then worry about the lift. i thought you were talking about lifting this truck at first. lol
