ok so im trying to do my alternator swap. On the stock mazda alternator i got the black wire to the battery thats positive. I got the plug that has one white wire with black and one black wire with white, then the single yellow wire which i think goes to the carb heat spacer.. When i swap to my ford 130 amp alternator it has A S I... does anyone know what wires go where?

I'm not sure if this will help or not..  http://www.mazdatruckin.com/vBulletin/performance/3820-130amp-ford-alternator-swap.html Pay special attention to the white and black wire which jumps over to the field as shown about 2/3rds down the page. I would also like to point out that several people who have mounted the alternator upside down to make the install easy have had the brackets break off shortly after. Welding up some new alternator brackets is recommended. -Kyrasis6 Mazdatruckin.com
