Good luck Jumbo! I really hope it gets done, BUT I have doubts of it getting done in time.. maybe if it hadnt sat for 3 months in his backyard before he touched it.....

Why rush it? It takes longer than 2 weeks to get all the kinks out. That's a very long drive.

I would say not to rush it also, if it happens it happens, but you have been through enough and we all know you are ready to get it done, but make sure it is right especially if you are planning to drive it...........just wait until Scrapin' in June, that would give you alot more time, and I would get to see it, lol!

Your hobby is supposed to relieve your stress, not cause a different kind of it. Just focus your effort on getting it done properly and the rest will fall into place. If you miss the show date you have picked there will always be another one to hit. The progress looks great btw, good to see it coming along.

the 30th is the deadline he set, not me. Granted, he's had it since the end of November, and knew i wanted to take it to showfest. But he wanted to wail until all the parts (or at least most of them) were in his shop so he could get it blown out quick. I agree with everyone so far, if it does'nt work out, or if something goes wrong, i won't take it to showfest Definitely would rather miss the show than throw a link bar or something doing 75 on the interstate, so if he has any doubts at all, i'm not taking it. I'm going to try to talk the wifey into going to scrapin (she's always wanted to go to biloxi) and all star, and maybe slamily (but that's the weekend of our 10 year anniversary, so i have a better chance of shitting a flaming porcupine than going to that show, lol), so hopefully i'll get to meet up with some of you. and don't worry, i let the yellow bus sit for 6 months because i found out it was fubar'ed, i definitely value me and my family's safety over taking a rushed out truck to a show. Just found out that my daughter's preschool graduation is May 14 at 5:30, so i may not be able to go anyway (without listening to the wife bitch). She already threw a fit tonight because i wanted her to go to Tunica with me right after the graduation ceremony. She said she won't do it, i can go if i want, but she ain't leaving right after our kid graduates preschool. WTF is up with women, anyway?? I swear, i've never seen a guy stomp out of a room with a woman following him saying "What, what did i say??" I can so understand why some dudes are gay now.
