I am running one on my 2008 tundra crewmax I havnt ran it long enough to give a proper review the truck should be finished this coming week and will get to put some drive time on it.  the compressor has a preety good fill time but my truck has huge air requirements so I am running it alot more than I would like.  My set up is 1 dc7500 filling 2 5 gal stainless tanks.1/2" air engine manifold.  1/2" air line 4 slam-r' 8 bags.  this is all under a 7300lb truck so it has a healthy air appetite.  If I was a switch happy person this would not be enough. however I honestly fill that the only electric air compressor on the market that would be enough for my setup would be a oassis.  I am ethier adding another dc7500 or a EDC to my set-up.

I have run several "DC series" compressors over the years. They are junk; mainly because they have a short life span & Shaim will not sell parts for the motor. Also, once I needed a piston & cylinder. I was forced to buy a head & crank case I didn't need. SO: stay away from them.

I have one on my 07 Tahoe and I think it works fine. The downer is that it is pretty loud compared to dual viairs but the fill time is really fast. I have a 9 gallon and it takes about a little over a minute or so to fill from 115 to 145. This is my daily driver and this winter I had some pretty steady leaks throughout and i ran it hard, after 7 months of steady running it, i had the inlet flap shatter and get into the piston seal, for about $30 plus shipping I rebuilt it in under 30 minutes... I think its worth the money to be able to run it hard and be able to rebuild for cheap instead of replacing.

Ive used them..had one that lasted about 5 show seasons until it slowly degraded in performance. Also have had alot of friends that have used them, the most common problem i have seen is the entire head snaps off at the body of the compressor. Very loud and vibrates pretty hard. I wouldnt use one on a daily but for a show vehicle they are ok.

like above iv got one on my 08 crewmax tundra i have now ran it for a few months.  the comressor is doing good it just does not like the high pressure i would say its great for anything below i would say 175.  my setup is 165-200 so it has some trouble with that.  I will soon be adding 2 obd2's to suppliment it.

i have had 2 dc5000 for 5 years now and never had an issue with them , they fill alot faster than my viairs but really loud but its a very short run time
