Alright guys, I've been searching, but couldn't quite find the answer I was looking for. The question is, I'm about to upgrade from 20's to 22's, so what does the offset/backspacing need to be? I'm looking at the Boss 313, but they aren't offered with many options for offset. Right now, I'm not having any issues in the front, but in the rear, my tire hits the OUTside of the wheel well, not the lip, but firther up only when I'm laid out, which means no crusing low. This time around I want to prevent this. I'm going to be cutting out the wheel wells anyway, but cutting out the inside seems unnecessary. Just wondering how everyone else makes it work. BTW it's a 92 Reg.cab fleetside, I'll be running a 255/30R22 tire and 22x8.5 - 22x9.5

hey bro, i cant offer any help on the offset question but a 255/30 will be stretched on a 9.5" wheel.my friends got them on his 22's and its just rediculous... the wheel sticks out further than the tire.

Yeah, I was thinkin about that. Hopefully I can find a 22x8.5 or probably have to run a 265/35

I have the boss 329 22x9 255/30 plenty of side wall. they are positive 40 offset i had to space the front with a 1/4 inch spacer.I could have gotten the 30 offset but i was worried about the rear end but you can always have the mounting plate milled down most custom rim shops have a lathe to do it on.

so what is the proper offset to run 22s on this body style? no spacers no milling no narrowing? just the proper size?

narrow ur rear end and u can run whatever they hell u want back there if you do it right

you could put a 96 Impala rearend on it. The bonus is that its about 1in narrower on bothe sides and you get disc brakes
