s-10 dump bed

I know this is a dumb question. But i been thinkin of doin a dump bed on my truck.I have a 98 sonoma and i just havent seen any way to do it effectivly. The cab is pushed back 1/2"  and I was worried it might hit while lifting? Anybody got any pics or insight on doin this. THANKS
