I have a 2002 Ford Ranger with a one piece drive shaft! It is dragging the center cross member to the gas tank. I cut it out and now its dragging the floor of the truck! I need a two piece drive shaft something serious!  I have tried salvage yards to see if they have any and they just look at me as like I'm asking for a blinker fluid reservoir or a muffler Bearing! I don't wanna have to section the floor just for a few inches. Trucks not bagged, Just lowered. Do any of you guys have one Lay'n around? That $450 from the Auto Parts store is not the route I wanna take nor is the $600 from the Fab shop to build me one! If someone has one lay'n around and wants to make a few bucks, Holla at me!  Lata..

if you go to a two piece you will have to install a carrier bearing too. I personally would just notch out the body where the shaft is hitting. not too much work and much cheaper.

I have everything there to bolt the two piece drive shaft in.. Every Ranger is set up with the cross member to bolt the center bearing to it!  I just need the Drive Shaft.. I know that cutting the floor is easier and cheaper but I don't wanna hack up the floor just for a static drop truck when I can built something in!

why not just fab up a small tunnel in the cab its alot easier, especailly if u bag it and ive had 3 rangers and bagged them on 20's and had to tunnel the cab to get shaft to clear anyways, dang extended cabs

I'd do that if I was bagging it but this is just something I cruise in! I have other bagged rides so theres no need in bagging tihs one! Maybe later down the road when i buy something new but not now..      I really need a Drive shaft!  Can anyone help me out?

Found my Drive shaft! Out of a 95 Ranger! Going to start on this soon!  Thanx for helping me out bro!  Well worth the drive going to get it!  I'll drive to Panama City any day!  lol.. If anyone know anything I might need to do on this two piece shaft before installing it, let me know!  I'm changing the universal joints and the center bearing just to be on the safe side. Didn't know if there was any other things I might need to know!  Hit me up if someone else has done this!  Lata
