I was wondering what ratio everyone thinned this out too. I sprayed it once before but forgot how much acetone we mixed in so anyone know?

i did find this, if its not what your looking for, sorry about it man. its for painting with rustolium. (reduced with a generic medium speed acrylic enamel reducer, and Evercoats Wet Look Acrylic Enamel Hardener added into the mix. Aproximate ratio 8-4-1. This was sprayed out of 1 of my 1.4 tip HLVP gravity feed guns, 1 mist coat followed by 2 medium coats.)also found this: I read the article on the rustoleum paint job and decided to try it out on 2 fenders. It seems like its going to work but I am only on my first coat. I mixed the paint with mineral spirits 50/50 and applied a very thin coat with and ultra fine paint roller. The first fender was wet sanded with 800 grit sand paper. This caused the paint to not want to stick that well but it turned out ok in the end. On the second fender, I wet sanded with 400 grit and applied a thinner coat. The paint went on great and smoothed right out. I will get some pics up today of my experiment. I was bold and went with sunrise red.

I've actually been considering doin this as well. Since its a enamel if you dont use a hardener it will take alot longer to dry right? Def like to get mix ratio and what to use exactly to do this and do it right. my only concern is if it will cahwlk up or fade ? Also im by no means a painter or body guy, but incase i had to do this all on my own how easy is it ?

I didn't use a hardener but it took a few hours to dry
