i just bought some new wheels.. and i need to get tires yet.

i want to run a 30 series.. but with the rear how do i determine what i should run??

i need as much clearance as possible for my build..

would a 225/30r20 work on the front?  and any suggestions on the back??  with the 10s i was going for the lip more less than a fat tire.. if that makes sense..

 thanks

that front tire seems pretty small. i got 245/35/20 on my 20x8.5 and that seems perfect. for 30 series, i'd think 245/30 or 235/30 at the smallest. 225/30 seems like it would be stretched a lot and have no sidewall. for the back, i'd think 265/30/20. can't wait to see it. i remember it from ITB a couple years ago.

i just had to go thru this and bought two sets til i figured it out .. if want the smallest to squeeze in and have the sidewalls pretty much match then do ..225/35/18 and either a 275/30/20 or a 265/30/20 .. if u do a 255 on the back or a 215 on front with those size wheels then the wheel will sit out farther than the tire ,more open to get chipped up.. i ended up doin 225/40 and a 275 /35 ,,that was on my car .. go to 1010tires.com for their tire size calculator might help..  problem u r gonna have is finding a tire brand that matches front and rear depending on size u get and money u want to spend ..hope that helps
