Hello search didn't turn up anything. So I was wondering what some of you did to remove the leaf spring mounts off the axle? Is there a trick to it? Just cut and grind? Figured I would ask before I make a lot of work out of nothing its off of a 84 Toyota. Thanks!

Dang, ok guess ill just grind them off. Oh, one more question what about the welds on the axle because they look nasty anyone think it would be a terrible idea to clean those up or grind them smooth? Ill make a build thread here soon so you guys can see all the trouble im in lol.

If the welds are terrible I'd just cut and re-weld them to make sure theyre strong. Doesnt matter how clean the weld looks if its not strong you know?
