i have always wanted to know and see more pics of the turn signals on the truck ...not gonna copy them and think no one should copy something like that on such a well know truck ...but just wanted to see how they worked

They are stock turn signals from mid fifties volkswagon bugs. There called a semaphore turn signal.Copied of a web site:  Volkswagen Semaphores, or "trafficators," were the predecessor to the flashing turn signal. When activated, an electromagnet pulls the arm up, a light goes on inside, and when the semaphore is up all the way, a contact is made and the turn signal indicator lights up on the dash. The light does not blink, although some people have made minor modifications so they will.

wow...pretty sweet. Do they pop out when they are turned on and then close away when the blinker goes off?

yes they open up, and then close back down when the blinker is off, or turn is made..   ill get by fess's house and get a you tube video goin for you

There was a video that the time machine was featured in that showed the signals working... It was kinda old. Forget which one it was...
