lowering question

how much do shops charge to do a static drop?someone asked me today if i would lower his truck hes got all the stuff he just needs it installed.he has a ranger pretty much need to swap out coils up front and he has leaf springs for the back

too many factors to consider...but if you have all the right tools it should only take 2-3 hours so think of it like that... buddy?  if so maybe $50 - $100? not a buddy, but brought beer?  $150? some random guy? $200? if he wants to help &/or stand around & watch you...$350!!!  lol!!!  

Hes just a guy that had some speakers for sale so i went with my brother to pick them up and he asked who had done the static drop on my brothers toyotaand we told that we did and thats when he asked how much i would charge him to drop his ranger

i was basically kidding about the whole thing & since everywhere's different, maybe call a couple local shops (including tire shops) to see.  you don't want to go too high & scare him away, but you definately want it to be worth your time.  it also depends on how hard up for cash you are...  

Id put this little thing in the factor to ... did your brother get a deal on the speakers ... its one of those situations ... you dont wanna rape someone who gave you a deal on something ... thats just how i look at it .....

If you have all the right tools it should be a walk in the part I think 200 is a good price. Labor rate in Florida is expensive.

i did a 4/6 drop a month ago for a guy for $150 for the front and $150 for the backbut that was spindles springs  and flip kit and a notch

i would charge $300...you know know there are gonna be a few nuts and bolts that wont br easy to remove and gonna take extra time....i think $300 would be a steal....would charge a little less if hes buying the beer, lol
