what the truck looked like when i got it, thought itwas a good trade. and yes that flame is terrible looking

the frame i started building for it i have more pictures of problems i found but i dont know how to resize them, but any ways i bought new wheels for the truck i noticed the rearend was bad out of align once i put them on, and another reason for the new wheels was the passenger fender was flared 2 miles to clear the rim, so i got a higher offset. any ways i pulled the bed off and the passenger frame rail almost touched the driver side, it was pie cut in a bunch of place, the frame cracked numerous times apparently because there was weld over weld, some mig some 70 18 stick, it was a horrible mess, the 5 gallon air tank would touch the ground on un level ground. i also replaced all bags the front had home made cups which i have pics of  but once i again i dont know how to resize im sorry, but the welds on the cups broke were it holds the bolt for the bag to bolt to, and i actually pulled both bags out with cups still mounted to them complete floating setup, which i also fixed, one bag had rubbed a small hole in it, which i have pics to big to load, so i replaced the fronts with airlifts.

this was my first attempt at building a backhalf, its like 2/12 x2 1/2 x 1/4 wall heavy stuff i know but it was free i got it from work, this is a pic of it clamped in place.
here im trying to figure out wher i want everythin, i built the frame to go straight back so no more dragging the air tank

Edited: 5/24/2010 10:40:15 AM by bodydroppedon20 i figured out where i wanted everything in this picure and started tacking it up  about when this pic was taken i had alot of personel things going on in my life and ended up loosing my garage i was working on this at so i put the bed on it and had a roll back pick it up and take it to my friends house were we just got done building a 34x40 garage.also the original gas tank was chopped and sectoned and it still drug, so i had shawn at seriously insane build me another one, which now its like 2 " or more above the bottom of the frame rail and works great    ok well now im stuck all my pictures are to big, if anyone could help that would be great, i have alot of the pics on my myspace account which just look up bodydroppedon20

ok i figured out how to resize finally, here it is welded and spray on bedliner on it, thought it might keep vibration down with the bed on it  basically the finished product

Looks good, are those bags centered on the bar, if not you will blow your bushings quick

looking good...since its 2 linked the bar shouldnt twist that bad ...now we will hear the 2link mob

 yes sir, ill probably be building new ones to

pics of were im at now       this is how it sits now still needs bolted, aligned and an 02 sierra bumper, which wont be happening for a while, since my ankle was crushed by 10 tons of steel at work, which is why im posting pics. im bored as hell
