hey guys, ive been researching this question i have, which is can i tuck a 22x8.5 with a 40mm offset without narrowing the rear axle? from what ive found this question is asked about 20x8.5s with 40+ offset. so would the 2 inches in height be a problem? i already have a narrowed axle, that is messed up and leaks, and i am wanting to put my factory axle back under it. as far as my front suspension, i have djm 2" lower control arms and stock uppers and i tuck my 20x8.5 with 19mm offset. so i feel the 22s will tuck in the front, with modifying the uppers to keep them from hitting the exhaust manifolds

I made some narrowed control arms for an 01 dakota, to tuck 22s with a +25 offset.  I narrowed each side 1" to help with turning. From what i remember, he was running a stock rear end, and had a 22x8 with +38 offset, and had a stock rear end, but was in the process of narrowing it because of how badly it rubbed the bed sides. He was also running a super small tire.    Taylor
