Moser is gonna ask around 400$ for the axles. If your just having a housing narrowed, should only cost 500-700 , if your having it disassembled, narrowed, then reassembled the price will double usually.   Taylor

ok taylor for 499 your gonna sell him uppers..sweet..but from what it sounds hes not bagged yet..so what are shorter uppers gonna even do??give him hella camber at all times??i dunno sounds kinda like a dumb idea maybe im wrong..i think thats the worst advive to give him.to do it right he would need uppers and lowers shortened then he losing how much turning radius.also if hes not a highly skilled fabr like you he will have to pay to have this done the correct way..your work is some of the best but i dont see that being the best route..if im wrong correct me.i would sell your wheels and get ones that are the right fit ment then lay it out.if not your going through alot of work that will ultimatly cost you more in the long run..my 2 cents

Edited: 6/5/2010 9:05:56 PM by Chopped Mazda---------------------------------------------Originally posted by shwtim...... im wanting to lay it out...--------------------------------------------- ^^^ That statement above leads me to believe hes looking for these answers with being bagged in mind, or in the process of bagging it, but his front wheels wont tuck maybee?  I didnt see him state anyware clearly that hes bagged or not bagged, but 90% of the questions on this damn forum have to do with questions about people being bagged.....why the fuck else would he be worried about his rims tucking?  or Zing his frame?  most people with static drops dont worry about either of those. Just a guess? I have a local customer with a 03 f150, std cab, short bed, bought wheels for his truck when he was at stock height, 22s with a +15 offset.  When he wanted to bag it, he didnt want to buy new wheels, and the ones he had would have required him to flare his fenders.  So, i whipped him up some adjustable upper control arms, that were 1.375" shorter than stock, and he brough this wheels in enough to lay out great, and not too much camber to drive on.   This guys situation sounded quite similar to that previous customer of mine, so i offered an opinion, thats it.  Sorry it didnt mesh with your thoughts.    Taylor

the truth is i bought the truck in 06 as a daily driver but now have it in my head to bagg and body drop. the rims where cheap like 350 with new goodyears, got to love crack heads. i know im going to buy tube a arms upper and lower. fab is not problem being doing it since i was 9 and dad owns a shop. but if i could buy kmc sliders in black cheap i would do that. im in the mil. and trying to save money i dont make much of that stuff but i can fix your black hawk. so im going to cut the a arms 0.50 then flare the fenders 0.250 bend the lip up and with the camber going neg. it should tuck. idk .   for the guy who is like Z the frame wtf. its like a c notch but sideway, you cut and step notch in front and behind the bolt mounts for the a arms.
