Had a balljoint fail and needless to say I will need a new drivers side fender.  I figured now is as good of a time as any to shave the emblems and while I am at it go with an expy front conversion.  I have looked through the forums but can onyl find a few examples.  Post up pics if you got them.  I know the 04-06 is a bolt on affair, what about the 07-08?  My truck is a 2003 supercrew so any picks of the conversion on a screw would be very appreciated.

PS.  Dont want to be a newb so if there is a thread dedicated to this subject please shoot me in that direction.

Hmm no replies.  Anyone have any pics, even if they are not of your truck?

Yep, your truck is one that serves as my inspiration.  There is also a supercrew on the Truck'n website under "features" that is the same green as my truck that has the expy conversion.  It looks great, in fact they all look great in the pictures, now I just have to find someone in the Dallas area to check it out on an actual truck.

is it all bolt on?

That is my understanding, a bolt-on affair.  The only real work to do will be to patch, smooth the lower fender where the Expy body cladding attaches.  For those who have done the conversion any pointers on smoothing/blending this area.  Did you just cut out that section and weld in a new or body filler over it?

im trying to figure out the difference i have an 08 screw and the only difference i can see is the lower valance

The difference is that it is mounted on a 03 supercrew.  The newer F150 front ends will not bolt up like the Expy ones will.  The appeal to me is you get the updated front end, one piece headlights, etc with the lower bed sides of the older model.  Never thought the high bedsides of the newer f150 looked as sleek when lowered as the older models.
