hi i need to change some wheel studs and on the front i can not figure out how to separate the rotor from the hub, i think thats what its called. i took out all the necessary bolts and tryed banging it off with a hammer and still nothing.  i will post pics tmorrow.  thanks in advance

So you removed the entire assembly as a unit off of the spindle, them removed the bolts on the back side that hold the rotor to the hub? My bolts were a bitch to get off. I put the socket and ratchet on the bolt, then held the rotor in my hands and slammed the ratchet handle into the floor until they came loose.

yup its all off the spindle. and i just used an impact to get them off

hit it harder, if your not reusing the rotor try smacking it. if you are get a small peice of 2x4 and put it against it and hit it.  or put a good shop rag on the rotor clamp it in a vise and hit the hub.
