whats the best airbag setup for towing? i gotta 93 burban thats currently bagged with a triangulated 4-link and bags over the axle. i would liek to do a 6-Link setup, however i also plan on using my burban to tow my minitruck and someday a boat. what should i change? also is it a good idea to plate the notch i have now with 1/4" plate for added strength? also what transmisson and motor mods would yall suggest? i got 200K+ on the stock motor so its gonna have to be rebuilt or replaced soon

4 link with bags over axle like you have now would work just fine. actually is prob the most ideal setup. dont really have any pointer on the engine and tranny situation.

what kind and size of bags would yall recommend? i got Slam RE7s right now, will those be fine? or should i step up to some RE8s? also any recommendations on shocks?

7s would work but 8s might ride better.

I am doing a bag over axle setup on my 04 F150 with a parallel 4 link and panhard (for now) all so that I can still tow with it and I want to keep the stock gas tank and everything in it's place. I am using RE8s and will be getting the Bilstein shocks asap. What do you mean plate the notch? Are your C notches not fully boxed in? if not then yes, I would go ahead and do that, but I'm not sure what you mean. As far as the engine and tranny go, it really depends on what you have in it already. A stock FI 350 should be just fine depending on what's behind it (i.e. tranny and rearend). I have towed a 3k lb car with my 4.6L in my F150 just fine, I also bought an 18ft bayliner that it towed just fine as well.
