OK..I know this is totally my fault and I feel like an idiot b/c i know better!
I had my headliner down to recover..i got it all back up apparantly working properly. I drove the car last night. When i turned on the headlights, I lost dash lights and obviously tailights aslo (they were probably not working ever since putting the headliner back, i just hadn't noticed. ) SO, i found the fuse a 10amper..of course a 20amp was all I had handy so i slipped it in "STUPID...i know better". i sit in the car to check it all out and can instantly tell something in the headliner is getting hot..so I quickly pulled that fuse. I cut the wire harness going to the headliner knowing that was an issue..it was hot!
NOW! with the headliner totally disconnected I put the fuse back in...my tailights, dash lights, side marker lights will not turn off! I am assuming I have burned up a relay that controls them by running a fuse too big. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where the relay might be located?
