well im lookin to jump into the mini-truckin world. i've loved mini trucks for years and have finally gotten a stable job and would be able stack some money and get a truck. right now im debating wether or not to but a truck thats already been bagged or do it myself. IF i do it myslef    im thinking about getting my associates in welding/fabrication and want to know which truck is less of a pain in the ass to bag lol.
i feel in love with mazdas but called a shop and they said they are the hardest trucks to bag?? im not sure if he didnt want to give me a quote or if he was telling the truth. if i dont go with the mazda i'd like a nissan hardbody.

thanks guys and hopefully i should have a truck in a few months or so
thanx in advance guys!!

probally a mazda, the metal  bumpstops on a nissan are harder to get out and the torsion bars are not as easy to get out of a nissan as they are on a mazda,  the rear is about the same , notch it raise the gas tank mounts up or move the tank

I vote Mazda also.  On top of what Ben said, on the Nissans the upper control arm usually ends up hitting the upper bag plates, so that's another thing you need to work around.  Which on a first time bag job is another headache you don't need.

yep i cut about a 1/4 inch off my stock ones and plated the bottom to get a little extra beofre i got tube arms.  i think you have to weld a plate on the frame rail for  a mazda  if i remeber right  to strength where the bumpstop came off, cant rememer if it was mazdas or toyotas

well as for ease they are both torsion bar minis with leafsprings so the bagging is about the same .......however a mazda properly bagged lays damn near body needin just a small body drop compared to a nissan but as for looks gotta love a hardbody

thanks for all the advice guys!!!im leaning more towards the mazda but they are harder to come around in good condition.whats the deal with the torsion bars??? what has to be done?? im new to all this suspension stuff, sorry.im still iffy if i wanna do it myself or just fork the $$$ to hell bent which is a few hours away from me and know 100% that its gonna be done right and durable.does anyone recomend a good how-to for complete installation  of airbags and 2/4 links for a mazda or a nissan so i can see everything that would need to be doneHOPEFULLY ill have a a truck in the next few months guys!! thanx again everyone for the input,im glad to see this forum isnt full of douchebags lol
