I'm looking to carb my factory 4.3 vortec that i've got in my S-10... All the wiring, computers, and everything are in the trash, so i need to figure something out now, lol...

Few things is what intake am i going to need? i know a carb isn't just going to bolt up where the throttle body used to be...
Fuel pump suggestions? i've got a racing fuel cell with a pump already...

Anything else i should be on the lookout for? anything suggestions, help, or anything would be appreciated... thx guys

edelbrock has a manifold that takes yours off and is an all new piece that yes a carb will bolt up to. done.

get the manifold and a carb that will work for your engine specs, and you also need a GOOD fuel pressure regualtor

i did that to mine and it's not worth it, but if you do, get the summit wiring harness exactly same as painless but 150 dollars cheaper, i used a edelbrock 650 carb, 50 dollar external fuel pump, don't remember name of intake, but it came from summit, not really a cheap route, better off dropping a 350 in it

if the motor is stock a 650 carb is way to much for a 4.3 v6.

ive got and intake for one not really sure what year or what the difference is. im pretty sure it is for an earlier model 4.3. id sell it for 100 plus shipping or make an offer email at brian_s15@hotmail.com if your interested

i'd love to drop a 350 in it, but over the course of the plans for the truck i've gotten this 4.3 expecting to do a simple motor swap... but no computer or wiring left me with tryin' to carb it...   if anyway needs a factory 4.3 vortec for a simple factory motor swap then let me know, until then i'm stuck   Brian, email sent... thx
