i will be running bag over axle

i always measure the tire height then divid by 2 then i add the whole thickness of the axle because i dont like the notch resting on the axle so then save that measurement then measure from the floor to the bottom of the frame (truck must be level on stand) then add that to the first measure ment then measure from the ground to how ever high you two combined measurements are and that is where the bottom of the notch needs to be and your second question dont know because we dont know what truck it is

my tire height is 25 1/2 where on the frame do i need to measure for ground to frame? i measured  just behind the cab and got 8" axle is 2.75 and i think i add 3 for the bag being on the axle right   soooo     ground- 8" tire- 12" 5/8 axle- 1" 3/8 bag - 3" -------------------------------------   25 ?

yes measure under the cab as if the truck was laying flat frame  id do this ground 8tire 12 5/8axle 2 3/4that makes  24 3/8 ther is no need for the bag measure ment as it has nothing to do with notch height

here is what you need to doput your wheels on your rear end. measure from the ground to the top of the rear end. (after that, i always add like an inch or 2 )then measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame under the cab, and measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame directly above the rear end add it up and there ya go
