i just finished baggin the rear of my truck. And as i was working on the front i unbloted the rear of the torsion bar  and noticed it also bolts in the front. my question is do i unbolt it also and then just run a bolt thru it? its for a 92 toyota

The rear bolt on the torsion bar will be bolted to the frame under the cab. The front end of the torsion bar is splined and goes into a bolted on mount on the back of your lower control arm. You can pull the bar out though may take some work. This is not a toyota but it looks the simaliar

yea you take out the entire bar, you can even remove the mount from the arm, you want to keep the "strut rod" that goes to the front x member unless you are going to build a "a-arm" here is a couple of pics of mine       If you do make a 'A arm" make sure to turn the bolt around other wise you will never get it out lol

Yea all torsion systems look about the same like BKLIFE said just drop the rear mounts and pull on the bar it might take some finessing but it will come out .... then you can un-bolt the mount on the arm, there is no need for that it just takes up space....
