Jumping Windows !

I got an odd question. The wifes vehicle window is stuck down and wont go up or down you cant hear the window motor turning over. I push the switch and the light that used to light up on the switch lights up and flickers. I pulled the panel off and tried bringing the window up manually and it wont budge a bit. Has anyone ever jumped a window with wires from the battery?

I've done it before on a couple of vehicles but they have all been older vehicles with simple setups.  Biggest thing is give it power at the motor, don't try grabbing wires at the switch, disconect the switch.  All of the ones I have done this on have been two wire motors, so I wasn't afraid to just tap the wires and see which way it was going to move.

Yep.  I used to use a jump box in the shop when fixes doors and doing skins.
